Phone contact and attendance
Call us 24 hours a day for urgent carpentry enquiries. Night and weekend attendance is available across Adelaide. Our office reception hours remain 9 am–9 pm; these are separate from telephone contact and site attendance.
We can attend in as little as 30 minutes, depending on carpenter availability, your address and safe access. We confirm the proposed attendance time with you directly. A phone call or form submission starts an enquiry; the visit is confirmed when we agree the arrangements with you.
Timber faults and temporary measures
We discuss timber doors and frames that no longer close or work properly, damaged timber components, and fence, gate or deck faults affecting normal use. Tell us which part has failed and how it affects access.
- Timber doors and frames: assess the damaged timber, alignment and repairable fittings.
- Fences and gates: assess damaged timber and connections that prevent normal operation.
- Deck components: assess affected boards or adjoining timber before deciding the repair.
Temporary measures can include securing damaged timber doors or frames, fixing damaged fence or gate components, and isolating or restricting use of a damaged deck. We agree the suitable measure after checking the actual condition and access.
Keep people away from unstable timber. For a lock-only fault or lockout, contact a locksmith. Suspected structural instability needs an appropriate specialist; tell us about it before timber work is arranged.
What to tell us when you call
Give us your Adelaide suburb and street, a callback number, the affected timber component and what you cannot use normally. Mention any unsafe movement, access restrictions and when someone can meet the carpenter.
Existing photos can help if they can be taken safely, but they are optional. Do not move damaged timber to take a photo. You can email available images to handymanfelix.au2026@outlook.com or describe the problem by phone.
We confirm any call-out or assessment charge and how the repair will be priced before you agree to the visit. The work and cost depend on the actual site conditions. Temporary measures and follow-on repairs are agreed as separate parts of the scope where needed.
